XT60 or XT90 connections

If I’m using a 25-30 amp eBike controller with a 48v battery, would I run into any operational issues if I use XT60 connectors? I like the easier to handle small form factor. In the eBike I’m building, I’ll use two 750w motors, to drive each wheel. I mostly like to ride around Austin urban setting, hills are not too demanding. However, I like to haul items around, like what when yard sailing and in those cases I want to access more power.
